Business Advice and Mentoring

Mentors have helped several local entrepreneurs do better business.
The mentor programme involves the placement of a temporary advisor with the client company. The aim is to help owner-managers (particularly of small business start-ups) identify and overcome obstacles in the development stages of their business. Mentors are matched with a client depending on their background.

The mentor’s role is:

  • to listen;
  • to advice & counsel;
  • to help identify problems and areas for improvement and
  • to suggest solutions and assist in drawing up an action plan.

Areas of mentor involvement typically include general management, financial structuring, marketing, distribution, strategic planning etc.
