Women in Business

The South Tipperary Women in Business is dedicated to encourage and foster entrepreneurship amongst women in South Tipperary. The remit of the Network is to encourage and enable women in South Tipperary to succeed in enterprise. It is committed to:

• Creating a business network within which women already in business will have an opportunity to share experiences.
•  Create and foster an enterprise culture amongst women in Tipperary South.
• Create an enterprise environment for potential women entrepreneurs, which will encourage more women to become involved in starting up their own business.
• Provide an ongoing programme of activities on business topics and entrepreneurial skills.
• Support the Initiative with a programme co-ordinator who will be available on an ongoing basis to women entrepreneurs.

The Network meets the first Wednesday of each month and is funded by Tipperary SR County Enterprise Board.

To be a member of the South Tipperary Women in Business, you must:

• Be the owner/manager of a business
• Your business must be up and running and based in South Tipperary
